Hey al...looking at a Inter TD18a series182...it runs fine but has an oil leak seem to be behind lefthand drive sprocket...owner say its gearbox oil as needs topping up when used on hilly ground...Question is how big/cost to reseal the gearbox..what probs would the leak cause eg steering clutch/brake issues? if not repaired....Is a good machine except the leak...Thoughts & advice Thanks
A leak behind the sprocket sounds more like a seal or seals in the final drive area. but There are people on this forum with much better and more helpful information that will be along soon.
Thanks...thats what i think also
It's still possible that the transmission oil level will drop if the seals are bad between the transmission and the steering clutch/final drive housing on some machines, I'm not sure about yours, there are guys that frequent this forum that are much more knowledgeable then I and should pop in soon with some help.me
