Hello was wondering what everyone was using for telematics. We have a few cat machines that came with it from the factory but wanted somthing that we could use on all of our equipment. Jason

Lol. I'll die with a clutch peddle under my left foot. Telematics are communication betwen machine and your computer. Cat has a system you can buy with the new machines and has a monthly subscription. It will send you an email if it has a code.

Jason you should be able to log into VisionLink to view your Cat machines. The Association of Equipment Management Professionals ( AEMP ) is pushing to update a standard they release to promote a common protocol so data from all the different manufacturers can be fed into one system. Mixed fleets is a fact of life and having one site where you could manage your fleet is a common desire of many fleet managers. Things are a bit of a mess right now but in the near future having one telematics system should be a common practice. Big Data

Thanks for the reply. The caterpillar dealer told me a similiar thing. We are using the vision link now as most of our equipment is cat.
