Hey everyone, I got a d31E-17 dozer and the temp gauge isn't working. It is just a single wire gauge. What is the easiest way to test it. I know I could ground out the single wire and see if it pegs out the gauge but wasnt sure what it might do on a 24 volt system. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
If it only has one lead it is a mechainical gauge only repair is to replace it
