Having brake issues, emergency brake bracket that goes around disc on drive shaft is bent and puck is missing out of calliper no biggie, i dont really need it, can i block off the air line feeding that? Also the brake valve under the brake pedal has air comming out of the exaust tube all the time,I pulled the valve apart and cleaned it, it was real dirty but the orings didnt look that bad, is this normall, doesnt seem right to me and when u push on the brake pedal it will drain the tank in secods, there is another breather of some sort located next to the emergency brake master cylinder that air just pours out when you apply the brakes, any one have a clue, also are ther parts/service manuals available for these machines? thanks One moore thing the hydraulic control sppol valve is leaking on the bucket til shaft, it looks to be a bad seal behind a plate that is held on by 4 1/4 bolts, i removed it becaus i thought is was an o=ring but it looks to be a seal, so i put it back together, its not a pressure leak that shoots out it just basically drips ehough to make a small spot on the floor overnight again no real biggie but i would like to fix if its not a major pain, thanks
QR Valve Look for a hole in a QUICK RELEASE VALVE - maybe a leak in the air portion of your Power Cluster ( Mastercylinder ) Also, that is most likely not a seal under the 4 bolts, it will be a WIPER - not designed to hold any "real" pressure. 72-31 yeah thanks for the reply, i pluged off the line going to the parking brake cluster and the air leak went away. and as far as the spool goes thats kinda what i was thinking as well, that was a wiper and the real leak in an o ring on the shaft in the valve, but i didnt want to hear that because its not real easy to get too and i hate to just let it leakm it just bothers me even though its not bad at all. Oh on the air comming out the exhaust on the foot brake vale, the exaust line runs up under the hood by the battery box and you can hear air comming out all the time, not real bad but definitely continuos, is this working right or do i have a leaking foot valve, just doesnt seem right to me and a new foot valve is like 375.00 dont want to get it if dont have to, valve looks pretty simple i cleaned it out, if anything the orings seem a litlle stretched maybe that would make the pieces inside too tight to operate, just asking, thanks again
QR Valve As for the leaking foot valve, open up your QUICK RELEASE VALVES and see if one has a small hole in the diaphragm. -KenB www.earthmoverssupply.com
72-31 not sure what quick release valve your refering too. as far as the foot valve goes i didnt see a diaprham in it, just some orings and springs, the only other vavle i have seen is the flip lever valve that operates the clutch cut out and it is leaking but again i pluged it off for now, and there are two air actuated brake booster cans, one on each master cylinder, please let me know, if u mean like a push/ pull valve like on a trator trailer there isnt one, just the foot operated brake pedal unless i'm missing something, thanks
