I have a terex hr16 went to use the other day it over heated on me and turned off twice but started right up again do you think its the belt or water pump. What is the part number for belt or water pump. Also what is the key switch part number. Any help would be appreciated
With practically no information, I'd start with blowing the radiator out, they like to plug up with dust and chaff, especially if there's an oil cooler in the same flow. How long did it take to overheat? at what outside temperature? did it lose any coolant? had you checked the coolant before starting and as you worked?
Terex It took maybe 15 min to overheat it was like 40 degrees outside and yes it does have oil cooler on it. The coolant was fine when started lost little bit. The belt does have some play on it and does squeak
