Hi all From Northern lower Michigan here, new to the forum, and ownership of a few dozers, have a D4D 78A1? in running and operating shape, a D4 u? and 3 D2's 2 are in the 5u era the other have not delved into it in shamples, not a green horn to equipment but green to older machines as these, long story short FIL use to be a operator/mechanic for Bechtel corp. after he passed Wife inherited his whole mess of stuff along with 50 acres and his house, some is good some not so, I have been in the carpentry world for last 30 yrs so this equipment stuff is fresh to me, have ran Hydraulic dredges for the 10 yrs prior to becoming a carpenter, learning as I go on dry earth moving equipment, oh and enjoying the bejeezes out of it, have lots to to once retirement comes.     Yes you don't need to remind me, not old yet but sure as hatis feel like it, pushing 57 and sometimes feel 80 but is what it is,so just trying to plan for the time I can get up and walk out my door to keep busy instead of driving a hr each way for work, cheers
