Yeah, somehow I think this wouldn't go over well in the USA with OSHA. Not sure I would want to be the Operator sitting in that Mini-Ex either. But.....when git'er done applies they git'er done...
Not sure how many hours they spent trying to knock down that structure with the mini and a hammer, but I can't imagine how much the crane bill would have come to. If they would have put a wrecking ball on the crane, since they hired the crane to be there to begin with, I bet they could have knocked it down in about an hour and sent the crane home. Then used the mini on the ground to scoop the bricks out and finish up.
