A few days ago my skid steer just shut off and wouldn't start back up so far iv checked if lift pump is working it does and it fires on starting fluid but wont stay running it was filled up just before dieng but it was ran out of fuel before it was filled everything is working just wont start needs help finding the gremlin
In all of my Takeuchi machines, clogging of the fuel line has occurred. Remove inlet line from the water separator and lower the hose toward the ground. Fuel should run out. If not, blow air through (with tank cap off). If still clogged, the outlet on the bottom the tank is restricted. When all of that checks out, remove the separator, disassemble it, and verify no blockage.
By "checked if lift pump is working" did you check that fuel was flowing or just that it was making noise?
Fuel pump in there is a "rattler". Louder rattle when fuel isn't present.
I'd also inspect the fuel shutoff solenoid. I had a wiring issue on my tl140
