Anyone attach a small toolbox to their Skidsteer. Would be nice to carry some misc tool, fencing pliers. Bonus would be big enough for a grease gun, 20” mini shovel etc…. Anyone attach anything to theirs do they have access to a few tools? Or do you guys just stash them in the cab?
I thought about that too. The only place that would work for me is to make a box out of quarter inch steel plate and bolt it to the top of the cab and maybe it would not get destroyed.
Thinking a 50cal or 20mm ammo can mounted somewhere. Cheap and water tight. I will mount the shovel to the the arm on the outside with shovel clips.
If you drill or weld to the top of the cab you could be potentially de-certifying the ROPS. This could be an issue in the event of a machine rollover.
