Wondering how much and where you should measure track slack on older hitachi 20 ton machine.She is a UH082. thanks
You should measure the sag between the top roller and the idler. I don't know how much on this machine. Probably about 1".
any idea about the cat 320dl
turn to the side power the track off the ground about an inch plus from the bottom of the middle rollar to the top of the rail
lift the machine up and measure the track slack should have around 2" but don't make them to tight because if they are too tight you may shed a track when you steer
