This is not my domain by any stretch of the imagination. OK..... I replaced one of the 6'x6' larch lap panels and 2 off 4" x 6' posts in the back garden a few years ago....... but this is for real fence professionals. If you are very lucky, every now and then you see something that is a real :Banghead why didnt I think of that. I reckon this comes into that category if you are into cross country fence installation. The basis is a tracked dumper. They removed the tipper part to leave a flat load bed. Then they mounted the fence post rammer/hammer/driver at the rear. The rig is driven from the front as normal for travel to the work site, loaded with whatever type of posts you require. But once at the work place all operations including travel is operated by one man at the rear. It really comes into its own doing such as pipeline ROW fencing across wet fields in not too perfect weather where a 4x4 tractor would be slipping and sliding and cutting ruts. :cool2
Wow Rob, that's a pretty slick machine! Yeah, those crawler dumpers will go through near anything. We've sold a few to a fellow in Florida that takes the dump off of it and mounts a drill rig for dewatering systems in swampy areas. Nice pics. :notworthy
