Again o great ones I come with cap in hand, I have been offered an 1994 excavator 13t/26000lbs approx ,she has lowish hours ,less than 5000,unloved, coming with 5 buckets , q-hitch, etc, for reasonable money .Now I have no need of it yet with the gov job but will make use of it if I get it. Now the reason for this post is, it's a grey market machine, sprayed up in JCB JS130 colours, but it is a summitomo 120 or as you in the USA would say a Case 9010/9020 and the trottle controlled fails to function except on the over ride position , so the question is has anyone had any expierience of this and or any repair for the problem. Those old dogs usually have a wiring or computer problem. The other thing to check is the output on the alternator. There were no speed sensors on the A models so they used the frequency off the alternator as the speed signal for the computer. Lots of times alternators went bad and the owners didn't want to pay the high dollar price for the one with the extra wire. Now the computer don't work and all they want to do is gripe about it. There was no diagnostics on these computers. You have to have a wiring diagram, a fair bit of technical knowledge of how they work and a digital volt ohm meter to troubleshoot them. Good Luck!

Well folks it in my yard and our first issue is electrical, well to be truthful a couple of challenges , firstly we have three quarters of the throttle control works fine off the right hand button works fine on the throttle knob but wont turn off with the key, and secondly the item in the photos seems to be a delay relay for the ground out solenoid which has to be manually engaged to start the machine ,What I could really do with is 1 a wiring diagram 2 a replacement for the item below 3 or an indication as to where my issue is The machine is a grey market jcb of 1994 vintage ,but I am reliably informed that it was sold as a Link-belt ls2650cii, and as a Case 9010, sumitomo s280. This relay is located under the left arm rest and may differ from the items fitted to machines sold in the states ,if so and information or part numbers would be appreciated in fact any constructive help will be very much appreciated Stock
