Friend has a Terexts-14 that all at once he lost hyd's and power to the 6sp trans. Engine (4-71) run OK till he shut it off, now the air has bled off so can't shift rear trans. Starter will tun flywheel, hyd pump and drive line, but not the engine. First thought he sheared the flywheel bolts, but we used the starter to raise the apron, scraper and the crowd a little with no unusual noise from the flywheel housing, from sheared bolt heads. But will not turn the engine, and it is free. To me that leaves it a broken crank in the rear main.????? Anyone have any suggestions or pictures of the flywheel and components in the housing???
If the crank broke in the rear main the valves and injectors should still be moving when you crank it. Seen that on a 12v71 once.
