Does anyone know who is buying the 2nd 31000 at manitowoc cranes test yard? Crane Rental bought one. But their are two built and in the yard?
Im looking to see All or Maxim on the side of one of those.
Could happen my guess all will buy one
I thought the other 31000 thread had the 2nd buyer listed, but if I recall correctly they had decided not to buy the crane,
Yup bulldog it was built for. But they backed out
Wonder what the price tag is on that monster? I remember hearing that Zachry (HB) bought 3 2250's and wrote a check for 'em. Must be nice to have that kind of scratch, lol.
$30,000,000 or so Ive read.
That's a good close figure for the 31000 from my reads and no one has signed a purchase order yet for the one that Bulldog Erectors renigged on. Either way Manitowoc can use this waiting period for the extra testing of all the other configurations and making some minor mods and improvements too make the beast an even more impressive rig than it already is. It's impressive too! Not the biggest thing out there or the strongest but well designed and built with the user in mind. Here's my latest videos and pictures from my 2 weeks visit up there last month. http://s1029.photobucket.com/albums/y355/gostr8r/Crane Rental Corporations Manitowoc 31000/

No positive comments from me about that company. Sorry, been there and done that and I won't ever go there again.
