Under carriage Inspection

keito ยท 2009-04-13 11:58

New to the business and trying to figure out my under carriage status. Does anyone have any tips, photos, information or just plain old expertise in what to look for, what not to worry about and what to worry about. I have a Komatsu D21A6 Thanks to all!

Dozers that small we never turn pins & bushings just run them out (junk) 1.62 inch are new bush 1.50 100% thats if you turn them there are volumes on track wear. if you were dealing with a fleet of 575s and an undercarrage was a100 grand + is something else. But most all dealers will due undercarrage inspection free. with the intent of selling some thing. for you dont over tighten clean the mud out and back up slow reverse wear is almost always what wears out tracks.

If you have a Komatsu dealer near you contact them. I know ROLAND machine here in Wisconsin will do a FREE under carriage inspection. Had one done just last month on our PC 220 excavator. Just somthing to check into. Trbo
