Unloading a 623G

We have a 623G rental on our job the ejector comes forward before the floor rolls back forcing you to back paddle the material out. The rental mechanic says that's the way it's supposed to be. I've never been around the G's but am pretty sure they would work the same as my E & F and something must be wrong in the sequence valve. You guys that have G experience could you comment please.

Not sure about the E, but the F and G both work pretty much the same. There is no sequence valve as such, both the ejector and floor cylinders get oil at the same time, but there is a check valve in the circuit for the floor cylinder which might cause the symptoms you describe if it was playing up. Or the floor may be jammed.

Correct. You should not have to auger it out. Good grease on all the floor rollers? Good rollers? Take a look at it empty and see how it moves.

3 more days to finish, this G is a pain, elevator shuts off on it's own, have to hold the lever to return the floor & ejector, floor issue as mentioned. The most trouble free machine on the job is my old E

As a rental unit I hope they make a rental adjustment for providing a less than full performing machine. Hope to see you at Santa Margarita this spring.

Thanks old iron, going to try. Was set to go last year and ended up moving my shop that weekend.
