Am new here, and not a native english speaker, so appologies up front. Looking to buy a second hand 8 ton excavator. Will not be used that much, about 150till200 hrs a year. Mainly on our farm, cleaning drainage channels (we have a lot over here) and loading a dumptruck every once an a while. Currently looking for 2004-2008 machine, max 4000 hrs. (Probably too expensive for our use, but its our intention to run it for 15 years without much trouble.) The availability of used machines in this class is pretty limited at the moment. Currently got the following machnines offered by local dealers. - Takeuchi TB175 - Kubota KX251 - Kubota KX080-3 My impression is the Takeuchi runs a little smoother. The KX-080-3 is a approx 1 ton heavier machine what I like. Tke KX-251 is technically more staright forward machine, ( or say old fashioned) what has its adavtages to. whats not on it can not breakdown. Who an share his experiances with these machines ( especially regading reliablility)? What will be your recomendation ? thanks up front.
