Hi guys, i am looking to replace the chains on a Cat 312 and got a few quotes. basically the choice is between Cat and Valuepart. Cat set of chains cost just under 4200 bucks and the Valuepart stuff is just under 3000. Does anyone have experience with this brand? I know some guys who have used cheap Chinese chains and they are useless cuz the bushing just cracks when you are about 50% worn through them. Would be grateful if anyone has some feedback on this brand Thanks
V-Track chains are made in Korea which is the same place alot of Cat undercarriage is made. Cat and V-Track have the same warranty. $1200 is alot of money to me!!! Good Luck.
