Hello this is the first time on here. I have a M-470 trencher that I just bought. With no battery . How can I tell which battery to use. Not sure if its a 6 volt or 12. It has a Ford gas engine with a Generator on it.
Battery for Vermeer trencher Hi. We just got a Vermeer trencher and we're pretty sure it is a M470. The guy who sold it to is just plopped his diesel truck battery into the tractor to make it work. If you haven't already had this question answered, I can find out what the battery is and get back to you on that.
