We have a Volvo 240BLR which we've had from new it goes very well except for the belts. We get the belts from Deutz as they are the same belts that were delivered with the machine. we have done 7000 hours and in that time we have had to replace the water pump 3 times as you have to keep equal pressure on the water pump from the belts but we are always having belts slipping surely there must have been a modification. Surely Volvo doesn't think this is right.Any help would be much appreciated because its the only let down the Volvo has.
Good day kit dig Very familiar with this product have been involved with support a number of years. To my knowledge the engine drive belt that provides the inertia for the fuel feed pump has never been an issue is this the belt we are about the flat one? Kind regards Uffex
Information
Since we have had the machine the Volvo agency has changed 2 -3 times not just the local agent but the whole country and i don't know if our problems get lost or its just they don't know anything about it. i'll talk to our mechanic tomorrow and get some more information.
Good day kit Try to find a Volvo guy there by the name of Phil Chidgey from my knowledge he is likely to get it sorted for you. KR Uffex
