I have a A30C Volvo that we keep having problems with the hitch when I bought the truck we did not know that the nut had been welded onto the hitch and after a short time the weld broke on the hitch causing the truck to start trying to separate we bought a good used hitch replaced it torquedDo it down the best we could. Then we welded tabs onto the end of the hitch and nut to help prevent this from happening again. Well a couple months down the road it happens again the thread strip out the Welds break.Because unknown To us the hitch is cast iron and can’t be welded on. I have since bought another hitch and we’re preparing to I have since bought another hitch and we’re preparing to Replace a hitch again. Is there anybody that can help me maybe shed some light on what we’re doing wrong putting the nut on the hitch on wby we keep pulling threads.

Have you replaced the brass bushes in the rear frame? and or the sweated on steel sleeves on the hitch what torque are you using and how? see below 26. Install the notched nut on the hitch and then tighten the notched nut to a torque of 1250 ±250 N m (125 ±25 kgf m) (922 184 lbf ft). See [Invalid linktarget]. Figure 12 Tightening notched nut 1 Ca 50–55 kg (110–121 lb) A Ca 1.5 m (59 in) 27. Slacken off the notched nut to the nearest lock position and then lock the notched nut by installing the lock half. Torque-tighten the lock half lock screws to 85 N m (8.5 kgf m) (63 lbf ft). do you have the lock segment? see attached
12. Fill the system with approximately 200 gram (7 oz) of refrigerant.
