hi, can anyone tell me where the transmission pump is located in a volvo bm lm 1641 wheel loader, year 1979, enbin td100...i have been looking for every where and it seems to me is goes either in the pumps rack on one side of the transmission and driven for the common pump driver gears or could be driven by the torque converter shaft...i am not sure,...and i want to buy the volvo prosis software but i am not sure if they still have any information available for those old loaders in the volvo prosis,please some body enlighten me..
i already found the pump location, i just behind the torque converter, just like a vehicle design, ZF transmissions still design like in the back in the days, so if you have any problem with the transmission pump the whole transmission have to come off, bad design, but is the most popular in european heavy equipment and trucks, european are so conrsevative..anyways thank you guys for trying the help me with this...
