Volvo FM 4th Pedal

Hi, Can anyone tell me what the 4th pedal does on a volvo(its above the accelerator) See attached pic I have pressed it when the truck is stationary and it does nothing but havnt done it when it is moving. Any ideas? Cheers, Nick

    Well I'm not sure but it could be to tilt the steering wheel with.Have you tried that?

    That's the pedal that operates the tilting and telescopic steering wheel release. Press it down gently, and you can adjust the position of the wheel. When you release the pedal the wheel will lock. Gentle on that pedal. The cables like to snap, and are a real joy to change.
