volvo L 90 shovel

Need more info on the TD61gb engine please we were just about to put the heads back on when we noticed the lip of the liner had burnt away info on liner height please and big end cap bolts torque and any other info you think we need we've also ordered liner shims tia red diesel

    If you have a low liner in relation to the other liners, the block will need to be machined to accept the liner shims. When the block needs a counter-bore to use shims, it will usually need a new liner if the old one is eroded. Good Luck!

    If only 1 is low just replace the low one with a new one surly? no machining required.

    Hi everybody, sorry, late to the party. Have you pulled the low/burnt liner? Where is it actually damaged? Is it on the fire ring seat, or the raised portion closest to the ID? Variations in liner height should not exceed .002" from highest to lowest provided all heights are in spec.
