VOLVO ECR145cl or CAT314d lcr im stuck between the 2. anyone have had any experience with these excavators?
Speaking from Volvo side of things - seen a heap of them in the marketplace and had no issues to report. Based off the same componentry as the EC140C, it's a really solid little donk and very stable machine vs the competitors. (zx225, PC228). Usual Volvo lush features etc etc. Great little digger. Can't say I've had too much dealing with the CAT 314, but there are quite a few out there so they must do the job - they definately look a nice bit of kit.
Both are good machines but you'll pay through the nose for volvo parts.
