WA900 Wheel loader transmission question

bullyboy ยท 2012-04-29 09:40

I have a WA800/WA900 Transmission rebuilt by Komatsu in Ripley Tn. Would this fit a WA900-3? How many changes have been done to this transmission over the years.? If it needs updates what would they be to make this fit.?

We haven't worked on these transmissions, but my guess would be no. Most newer machines get updates to their components. The biggest problem anymore is the hardware/software that the machine uses. The only way you will know for sure is to buy the parts manuals for the two different trucks that you have and go through the transmission section line item by line item. The first thing to check is your main housings and flanges, then the valve. Sometimes they have very minor updates but you will not know unless you get the parts books.

mate it will depend on the WA900 you have a WA900-1 most parts are the same such as the transfer case as the WA900-3 but in saying that is if your machines serial number is 5001-50028 anything higher then that they use a different configuration mate, if you have any other questions please let me know i have all the parts books for the WA800's and WA900's

also for got to add the transmission case is the same also that seems the same on all the models not depended on the serial number but a lot of other smaller things change after the 50028 serial

Thanks for your answer. Do you sell parts and equipment in Australia? I will find out the serial numbers and would be thankful if you can help see if this will fit.
