I have a JBC 212 backhoe and the hydraulics have been running warm. The hydraulics were also running a bit sluggish. Now the hydraulics are running very hot and all functions barely move (loader, backhoe, drive and steer). Clearly there is a restriction. After the pump, my lines go to the priority valve which directs the flow to the steering unit and the MRV and loader valve block (Priority to steering). My first thought was a bad MRV. However, the steering unit is also affected and that is before the MRV. The pump was recently replaced as was the return filter and bypass. Any thoughts? Can a priority valve fail?
I'm don't know anything about your machine , but it sounds like to me you have a valve stuck shut or a completely plugged filter .
