HI guys - as topic says - does anyone know what motor went into the Komatsu Pc 45-1 - i need to remove the fuel injector pump and want to find a service manual online for this motor - or if you have a manual - can you please share - i have the wshop manuals but this only covers the machine and hydraulics and nothing on the motor ... thanks

It should be a Yanmar or Komatsu engine are the same .Model number on the engines should be 4D84-2b for serial number 1001-3505 OR 4D84E-3B for serial number 3506 and up.
All i could find on the plate mounted on the tappet cover was Komatsu ( numbers i dont recall right now ) - i ended up just going for it ... took radiator ect out to get good visable access to timing side of pump - found the marks -- lined them up ( tdc ) pulled everything down -- replaced welsh plugs ( u.s people call them ice plugs ?? reason i had to pull the machine apart ) then re assembled -- all went well - fired up first hit on the key 4 hours to do a 2 min job ( plug replacement ) would be great to still find a service manual though ...
