wondering what wheel loader, older model would you recommend for around the farm. looking for a smaller loader, for odd jobs, something that you can get parts for yet, not overly expensive and would like to be a smaller machine, like a 1 or 2 yard machine.
An old 930 Cat would be a good place to start looking. Something like this perhaps.... http://www.mylittlesalesman.com/fro...b652-4a67-b822-a4beabb79f94&item=155097&ind=1
If you were to stay closer to a 1 to 1.4 yard bucket, I would just get a backhoe loader. Seems like a backhoe might be of more use.
i like deere because of access to filters/repairs. if no industrial dealer nearby, many parts can get bought thru ag dealer.
Depending on what you want to spend. You can get a JD544B/C/D for $10K-25K. This would be a great size machine for around a farm. Automatic allison transmission is smooth shifting and you can still go to your local Deere dealer and get parts for them.
