It certainly won't help it. Did antifreeze accidently get put in the trans? A little back story would be helpful. Just noticed you had another thread on the subject. Keep the same topic in only one thread. Otherwise it gets too confusing.

We went through 2 transmissions, one rebuilt and a brand new and they were putting in a 3rd new... Allison 545 I think. Insisted someone put coolant in either by mistake or on purpose. After 2nd one was strawberry milking and lost the clutches I heard about it. Sure there's no antifreeze to ATF mix point, like a cooler? Nope, nope, we checked. Go bad to work, you're not a mechanic. Well, not paid as one, but did go to school for it and 25+ yrs of keeping my junk fixed.... so not green either. 3rd one is going in and I happen to be welding something in the shop and roll under to check. 3 secs in... uh.... there's a log style heat exchanger right here on the crossmember... it ok? Deer in headlights looks from the mechanics. Yup...it was bad. Cost the boss probably 20k between the transmissions, ATF and labor. Would have been ahead giving that gutless dumptruck a final walk into the woods!

Welcome to HEF, Clark ! Nothing if it wasn't run and was thoroughly flushed out. If it was run with it in it, the damage will depend on how long and hard it was run. How did it get in the ---- transmission (gear box) or the shuttle ? If it has a power shuttle, it has an oil cooler in the bottom of the radiator.
