Having a hard time finding a place to rent a track loader anywhere near Massachusetts. Anyone have any ideas for me? Ive tried Milton cat, blueline rental, sunbelt rental, and several others.
That is one you don't see often, I can't remember ever seeing a track loader for rent( not saying there aren't any). Why not just a good sized excavator?
Did you try any of the local dealers some times they have a rental program
Welcome to the Forums samh!:drinkup The popularity of track loaders are a regional item. Here the Cat Rental store has 953D's they rent, saw a brand new one on the yard a couple of weeks ago. The big guys (Sunbelt, United) don't have them, if your local Cat Rental doesn't either then check local/small rental outfits? Depending on what you need it for you may have to hire one by the hour/job from another contractor that does have one.
I could find a track loader to rent in my area but my homeowners will not insure it, and the rental company rates are sky high.
They are a lot more common down south than in new england, for sure, but i should be able to find some. Sunbelt and blueline have them on their websites but they dont have any in my area, tried cat with no luck. Guess ill keep looking, need it for april.
tightline, Do you have a small farm you will be using the machine on? My farm policy covers any rented equipment I bring on site.
I was just on Jescos site in Shrewsberry,MA.Says they have 3 different sized track loaders for you to rent.
Yes i have a 140acre spread with 100 milk cows. I think my insurance covers any rentals too.
Ive never heard of Jescos before, thanks for that tip, i sent them an email to see if theyve got any. Other places like blueline rental have 605,655,755 deeres on the site but they dont have them. These are the same models on Jescos site, hope they got em.
