Did a search couldn't find anything. So where do you hang your shovel other than in front bucket
.............. In the long handle shovel storage rack ! ....................... Sorry ! ........ just couldn't resist ............ spring is def in the air ! ..... cheers
First thing that came to my mind is to install a couple of spring clips somewhere across the back of the loader bucket & 'click' er in. http://www.norma.net.au/pdf/terry tool clips specs.pdf
Made a stand right outside the door. Holds shovel, spade, tile probe and flags. Just a piece of 1 1/2" square tubing running vertical ,welded on a flat plate bolted down to the battery box lid. Lateral pieces at different heights to hold each item. Like a tree with branches. Just has to be stout enough to hold from the bottom plate Sorry no pictures
I'll agree with pointrow, seen a few that also welded the pipe to the loader arm, welded a nut to the shovel shank and another to the pipe, used a tarp strap to hold it in while using the loader, a few have welded the pipe to the side of the cab, usually outside the door by the handle that attaches to the cab and slid it in from the top and the shovel head holds it off the ground. Seen a similar one where the guy mounted a bracket off the cab and hung the shovel from a homemade rack like they are stored in stores, head up from hooks long enough the shovel head couldn't shake out, that way his d handle shovel would fit, unlike the pipe design where the handle fits into the pipe, that and any length shovel would fit with any handle style. Sorry I don't have any pictures either
If you had bought a Case, then the shovels would stand up right in the steps, with plenty of room to get in and out. The K was best, as you could put 2 on each side. The L was not as good, but still held them.
