Hello again. Trying to remove the rectifier I notice that the winding ends are not soldered as in all videos I've seen. They are just curled into a loop, bent flat, then screwed down. With the screws removed you can bend up the loops and the rectifier is ready to lift off. See yellow lines. Am I ok just to straighten the wires up straight and lift off the rectifier? Seems simple, but I just don't want to commit a stupid blunder. The slip rings, B+ post, and brushes look ok to my untrained eye. Can see some rust inside the case on the fins. Thanks for any advice you can give. I've hopefully attached 4 pics.
