gonna leave my 580k outside for the winter . are there any things to do that are best for leaving out in the elements what do you do? stabilizers up or down / loader/ bucket/ ?? leave boom in travel position ??? use a cover ? lubricate exposed cyl rods?..air up the tires ? the battery is going in the garage , fuel treated , wipe down rusty spots with a rag with motor oil ,wipe tires too . maybe start it up every week or so last year i had small animals nesting on or around

I think under a cover would be good and I'd relax all the hydraulics. It's not that old of a machine that the cylinders will rust. Throw some scented dryer sheets or moth balls around it to help keep critters out. Definitely air up the tires to spec. Lots of machines just get parked outside for the winter in the elements without much problems if they're winterized.

If you live close to 1 of the oceans I would probably put a little oil on the exposed cylinder rods .
