Where js the screw ro increase the diesel a small bit in a zexel (bosch) pump which is on a 4bd1t engine. Picture attached. Want to turn it 1/4 turn.
It’s on the bottom or behind the governor plate.. If u turn the pump to where the gov is facing the camera, I can be more helpful.
It's hard to get a good pic as the engine filter is in the way. I opened the top one and there was a screw behind it but that only seemed to increase the revs. Then the bottom one only seems to be a treaded section with no section for a screw driver? Appreciate all advice.
My advise is: Remove the filter and snap a picture.
Mine is the exact same as this picture. Would save me taking off the engine oil filter
The fuel screw is behind that cover on the bottom.. Just keep in mind, once u snip that wire and break the tamper proof lacquer, it’s now yours.. U void the warranty..
So I have to open the 4 bolts and take off that plate to get to the fuel screw? Is there anything that could fall out once that plate comes off?
No.. but there is an oring seal in the cover, make sure it stays put in its groove. DO NOT screw the adjuster more than 1 full turn “IN”.!!!
Thanks for your help. You were correct with all your info. Turned it 3/4 of the way. Made a nice difference without too much excess smoke.
Your welcome.. Always nice to hear a success story..
