Washington 217D Yarder - High Country Move Through Steep Switchbacks

A little more on the huge 217's. They seem to have been made from 1970 to 1973 in a number of 29. Most of them probably had Cummins CV1710 power and 24 of them actually went to Bislig Bay on Mindanao in the Philippines. 9 of these had 110 feet spars and carriers, rest where probably sled mounted. 1 went to Ketchikan pulp and one to Simpson in Washington and 3 to California.
