Having a hard time finding any reviews of a 2001 246, anybody have some pros and cons thanks
Cat 246 I have a 2004 246B model. Mine has 4500hrs on it and still runs great. I liked it so much i bought a new 246C a couple months ago. I will say that i have heard bad things about the older machines (lots of head gasket problems and electrical issues). I havent had any problems with mine whatsoever. My advise would be to ask your local Cat service department, they see all these models and will know. As far as operating it they are great, very smooth and easy to use. Great visibility and power. They also have very strong resale, something to consider these days!!
