this is what im looking for. i went to jds site but it seems this valve is just a little different from the diagrams im seeing. anyone know who made this valve? also are there serial numbers on the backhoe? cant find a thing. thanks
Bring the parts in to a hydraulic repair/parts store. If your lucky you can talk to an older technician that will recognize it.
This may not be related at all, but I did find this. It's at least a similar number. http://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cgi-bin/viewit.cgi?bd=jd&th=135500
The real question is what needs to be done
Looks like at the very least you need a valve section capt, but there's a possibility that Deere may not be able to supply a section for that particular control valve. Being a 1964 machine that valve may be obsolete and nobody in the country has one. If that turns out to be the case, might have to fit a later model control valve to the machine. Another option, still a slim one and will take some detective work on your part, is to find an old machine turning to rust in a back lot that you can rob the control valve from it. Good luck. http://www.machinerytrader.com/list/dismantledsearch.aspx?ETID=3&Manu=DEERE&Mdltxt=500&mdlx=exact
that was a good lead, its a Cessna valve. found a pic of one. now just need to cross their numbers with deere. case used that valve as well. the search continues! thanks
