hi I have a 1980 John Deere 410 with a 4219dt engine that has blown up. we can’t find one in our area but I am told a 4230df will fit is this true because everyone I ask has a different opinion. Thanks

I would contact some salvage yards. You will surely find your answer there. There is a 4219 for sale on EBay. It is dismantled and the vendor has the block for sale.
