Dose anybody have any info on four wheel drive problems to a 1999 JCB 214 S. Only 2000 HRS. Everything else works fine. The switch in cab for two or four wheel drive dose light up when switched. :Banghead
check electrical and the solenoid for power on the 4wd unit and that the solenoid is working your model may have the 4wd braking system when you put your foot on the brake whilst traveling the 4wd is energized to give 4 wheel braking solenoids and Bellevue washer and clutch packs used to fail .to strip out the clutch pack drain oil and remove prop front and undo bolts on 4wd hub unit and it will just pull out out of the gearbox and then you can pull it apart but you will need a press to compress the Bellevue washer to remove circlip to get in there .
Mine is an "always 4x4" so i can't really help you, but like Jeff said, it does sound electrical. Did you purchase this machine like this or did this just happen all of a sudden. I know JCB's are bad for their solenoids, check your fuses also.
