I just got a 2007 Cat 268B skid steer and the bucket tilt slowly drifts down and it should be holding position, the tilt cylinders are not leaking oil, there is no oil leaking under the machine, move joystick and bucket raises back up, I am only assuming there is something leaking by on the control oil circuit, is there a service manual available to show the location of the hydraulic valve bank assembly and or has anyone encountered this problem. thanks Rich
How far do the tilt cylinders move and how fast.? When you release the joystick do they keep moving until the piston in the cylinder hits the end of its travel or just drift so far and stop.? The 268B has mechanically-controlled implement pilot valves. You could just as easily have leakage in the tilt control side of the implement control pilot valve. See attached.
