I have a 226 Cat Skidsteer. When plowing snow last weekend, we noticed a hydraulic leak coming from front of the underside of the machine. How do I go about flipping the cab to see where its coming from? Any thoughts on what would be leaking? Thanks!
There are 2 bolts in the front corners of the cab ( they take a 15/16 wrench and socket )that need to come out then the cab will flip up. It is hinged at the back and should have a gas shock to help you lift it if it's working. Once you get it up all the way a latch will fall into place to hold it up. I recommend having a helper the first time you lift it .
Thank you much!
