have a cat 287c and it won't lift the forks. It runs fine and will move forward and back but no action with the forks. There is a yellow triangle with an ! in it flashing and under that a rectangular box with broken red line outline in the book its #7 but my book doesn't tell me what it means. HELP
What ones are lit?

maybe sounds like it might be low of fluid that is what was wrong with mine
The flashing red one is a lockout indicator. Is the override lockout switch flipped. Upper left, second from the back. If not, can you pull the codes from the moniter panel?
So I thought we were all good to go worked about 3 hours and now that same thing the flashing yellow light (warning) I assume. and the red light lockout switch (I guess) is back on. Have changed the hydraulic filter and check the fluid level all is good. Any ideas??
As Lee said, the 2nd switch from the back is the one that affects that Light. It should be in the middle position. Pressing the top will disable the hyd functions. Pressing the bottom will allow the aux hyd circuits/functions to operate with the arm rests raised. Another thing to check is the micro switch on the door. Make sure the plugs and wiring are in tact. If you do not have the door on there is a jumper wire that bypasses that switch. Just more things to check.
Is it just the boom controls? Just the bucket? or no hydraulics at all? No coupler no nothing? May sound stupid, happened the other day to one of our guys on the B, relay fell out for the right joystick. Maybe swap them around? Check fuses if there are any? Simple stuff first. Im guessing it didn't happen but the emergency dump didn't get pulled did it?
