299D3 Help!

I have a 299D3 with serial number CAT0299DLDY900853. We have a brown wire that goes to the back that looks like it should go to ground, but we can't figure out where it goes to and what it connects. I have attached the picture of the wire. Does anyone have an electrical schematic that may help? The wire says 455-LP6. Thanks for any help!
