303.5 AFW00807 adding block heater

3013 perkins engine was bolt an installed heater? or remove the other plug?

    Unscrew that pipe plug and install your block heater there.

    I reckon it should work. Like you said, verify the measurement. You didn’t list your location. Unless you live north of me, that machine doesn’t need a dipstick heater. Those things are hokey, anyways. Lol. The block heater will be all you need. I’d recommend a synthetic 5w-40 or 0w-40 engine oil.
