Hey there fella, done few of these deers myself,,,if
Hey Jimbo, ive done few of these deers myself, if ur not takeing head to machine shop then don't pull injectors, just lay the head down on some wood or card board, never on a flat metal surface, itll flatten the injector spray nozzles, but if still wanta remove injectors, remove the 5/16 bolt from hold down an spray some sort of lube around the base of the injectors an let sit for few mins, get a pair of vise grips an clamp injector as close to bottom on it as possible (not n threads were fuel line screws on) slowly twist side to side looseing the injector up, slowly pull up while twisting it, sometimes may need to use a small pry bar to help pull stuck ones up, pry against vise grips, there easy to bend too,,, but if one accidently gets bent don't worry there in expensive . I just sent some to my injector pump guy to get checked an he told me that them pencil type injectors are just as cheap to buyem that to rebuildem, they were like 40 bucks each, just don't go to dear to buy em, they will hit ya lil harder on the price. when reinstalling them put antiseize around them for next time.
Thank you for the info on the deer head. The less things I have to mess with the better. Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my question. I really appreciate your help. Sincerely, Jim
