We have a john Deere 410 backhoe. No letter designation, anyway it developed a steering line leak at the steering valve. While replacing the oring on the fitting that was leaking, figured why not replace all four. Everything worked fine before, but after we fixed the leak, now the tractor won't move. All hydraulics work fine, even the steering and no leaks. Hyd. fluid is full, cleaned the screen, new filter. Still no movement. Checked linkage going into valve of transmission and is working fine. Kinda weird, worked fine, fixed the steering leak, was shut down for about two hours, now it won't move. Help!!!!
Check the clutch linkage rod that goes from the pedal across to the transmission control valve. There is a roll pin that can shear at the valve end.
I have checked it. Put a new one in anyway
