pressure on steering valve test ports (right side) will not drop to zero when steering pedal is pressed. have removed valve and replaced gasket and broken springs, spools look good, reinstalled valve and problem remains. screwed adjustment on spool in to get to zero with no effect, is there something else that would keep pressure up to the steering clutch? any help would be appreciated.
Welcome to HEF joedirk ! Serial number? Direct drive machine or torque converter machine? Do you have the entire adjustment procedure? You will most likely have to start from scratch and adjust both sides from the beginning because one side can affect the other side.
That was the solution, the left side was out of adjustment far enough to screw up the right side. Thank you mg2361. Direct drive, pedal steer, less than 770,000 serial number.
