573 bobcat fuel problem

I have a 753 diesel bobcat. Weird, unless my tank is completely full it will not run. 3/4 tank will not start. I have replaced primer bulb. Gotten air out of system. It will run for half hour and quit. Top off tank and starts again. Whats up? Thank you

    Does the fuel line go into the top of the tank? If so, it may be a broken pick up tube.
