How do you or can you adjust the amount of fuel going to injectors, I think I have way to much fuel giong to injectors, It always has gray smoke coming out of muffler.

Common misconception..The fuel is set and locked down. Olny things that could happen is LESS fuel from worn components inside the pump or gear train wear/piston ring wear in engine. OH, a stuck open/leaking tips in injectors will "flood" an engine by not snapping closed after the fuel has reached its opening pressure. Grey smoke is an idicator of worn rings in some cases.. Personally I would try to "adjust" the timing by rotating the pump slightly. Make a "starting mark" on the pump and block so you know where you started from and go from there. move it alittle, tighten it back up and start the engine..DO NOT loosen or move the pump while the engine is running !! You'll end-up with a 2 piece pump and a possable broken arm.. If its worse, move the pump in the other direction slightly..it doesnt take much.. Good luck. TPG
